Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  Can I bring a shoe of a similar height?
A.  In order to ensure proper hem height, it is important to have the exact shoes you plan to wear for your event at each of your fittings.

Q.  How much will my alterations cost?
A.  Each dress is unique. A price for services will be issued at your first fitting. No quotes are given over the phone or online.

Q.  How long will my alterations take?
A.  We work on a first-come, first-served basis. The sooner you can set up your first fitting, the better. Generally, we encourage you to visit us no later than twelve weeks before your wedding for your initial consultation. If given fewer than six weeks to complete your dress, a rush charge will be included.

Q.  What if I gain or lose weight before my wedding?
A.  It is best to maintain your current shape and size from your first fitting through pickup. However, we are aware that the stress of event planning can contribute to weight fluctuation. Your final fitting will typically be one month prior to your wedding, and minor adjustments can still be made at that time.
